"A great take on a Tarantino classic, also the food was great." Drew Duff "All of my Vampire dreams came true as they made the movie come to life right before our eyes, no... right in our laps. The female dancers were amazing, with the lead, Santánico Pandemónium absolutely mesmerizing. The dining was the most unique part of the show for me. It really made me feel like we were part of the show. We were right in the thick of it. I'm interested in coming to another show and I'm not sitting in the safety zone!" Jenifer Miller "My bachelor party was held in the Tittie Twister! What a once in a lifetime experience" Adron Gaut "Attended the Shetrick Entertainment production of "From Dusk 'Till Dawn" recently; what a great show! The premise was an adaptation of the climactic movie, in live-action. The audience gets a good set up for the production from the host and a series of video and live action scenes. The flow is good and pretty much all questions are answered - I think that the majority of people attending are familiar with the movie. In the live-action production piece, there is a high-quality feel to the sets, costumes and level of rehearsal in the players. Keep in mind, everybody involved were volunteers, and the proceeds from ticket sales and concessions go to Breast Cancer Research. There was plenty of food and interesting choices – you can tell that the volunteer chefs knew what they were doing. Service was excellent as well. There is also a full walk-up bar with plenty of variety to add to the festive atmosphere.
The actors playing the Desperados and captive family did a great job of portraying similar characters from the movie, good emotion and vocal projection for the audience. There is some mild portrayal of violence and murder, but that is with the movie has it as well. Caution; you might get wet LOL. Of particular note would be the female vampire actors - the production value in dance routines, live-action and their elaborate costumes are worth the price of admission alone! Total elapsed time for the production was about three hours with a short intermission, and it was a really fun evening out. The live band before the production started set the tone, and was a lot of fun as well. I've seen two of these now (remember, the proceeds go to a good cause) and will probably be buying a table of ten next time so that I can bring my friends!!" Scott Cartwright |
